Since February 1st in 2021, a crackdown by the Myanmar junta has occurred in the whole country. As a result, 40,000 people have fled into Mizoram state so far. However, assistance is hardly provided to them and there are few international organizations there. This is why we, Jumma Net, are determined to implement support for refugees from 2022, Secretary General visited the state and got to know how crucial the situation is.

In this session, Secretary General of Jumma Net will report the situations in Mizoram and how people stay in temporary shelters. (For the security reasons, personal information such as pictures/name will be changed and retouched.)

2021年2月1日以降、ミャンマー軍は国内各地で弾圧をおこなっています。その結果、現在4万人以上もの人々がインド・ミゾラム州に逃れています。しかし、支援は十分ではなく、国際社会による支援もほとんど行われていないのが現状です。そこでジュマ・ネットは2022年7月より支援活動を実施しています。8月には稲川事務局長が現地訪問を行い、状況が深刻であることを改めて認識しました。

このイベントでは、事務局長よりミゾラム州の概況やシェルターで生活する避難民の生活をご報告いたします。（プライバシー保護の観点から、写真や名前などの個人情報は適宜変更いたします。）
